CORE, Court Ordered Parent Education

Parent Support groups provide education, support, information and referrals to parents so they can raise healthy capable children ready to raise future generations. At Center for Families we acknowledge that being a parent is one of the most difficult jobs in the world that is why we value our Parent Support Groups. You are not alone!

Parents' Place provides weekly opportunities for parents to come together and learn parenting skills and share their parenting experiences with others. Parents gain new insights and learn from each other in a supportive environment. Parents' Place meets weekly at two sites in Madison.

Parents' Place

What is Parents' Place?

Parents' Place is a community based parent education and support service which utilizes a strength-based approach to parent development while providing education, support and additional resource information. Parents gain valuable new information and insights into their children and themselves as parents through the education component. Of equal importance is the sharing, learning and mutual support gained by being with other parents.

  • Parents receive education, support, information and referral.
  • We focus on helping parents understand their children's ages and stages of development so that they know what to expect.
